Occasionally I have to do something fun and bizarre. This fabric fish was the result of my joining The Imitation of Life Construction Company - a fabric doll club. The members were so much fun, I figured I would try my hand at designing a pattern of a wacky fish idea I had in my head. My husband thought I went over the edge when I put the legs on it. You can also tell she is a girl fish by her breasts. I outlined the faces I saw in the tie-dyed silk fabric with a permanent black pen, until it was covered with faces in all directions. She was great fun to create.
